New Year’s Day has come and gone, we’ve already completed the NAED
Eastern and Western Meetings and the NAED South Central is just around
the bend in February. One of key talking points at the NAED Meetings
has been the Digitization of the Electrical Industry.
In his September 7, 2017, editorial covering “Electrical Distributors Embrace Digitization”, NAED President Tom Naber noted: “As digital transformation continues to change the way we work, shop, learn and conduct business, the electrical distribution industry must equip itself with the people, processes and products to keep up with other industries, or be left behind.”
I could not agree more. In fact, it’s the key reason that I accepted the position of Director Sales & Marketing at ElectricSmarts. Our Electrical Industry is being transformed before our eyes and assisting our Manufacturing and Distribution partners to help integrate digitized processes is my number one goal. ElectricSmarts has been at the forefront of change within the Electrical Industry for over 18 years, and from what I can see, there is much more to come. The road to digital transformation may not be easy, but with ElectricSmarts knowledge, assistance and insight, we can provide the roadmap to make it happen.
