Category 4 - Shazam! I'm sitting here watching the weather forecasters talking about how our lives will be disrupted in just a few hours. 100 mile an hour winds, 10 foot storm surges, power outages and other abnormal events are on the horizon. Once again the "P" word (planning) enters our lives.
John Lennon said, "Life is what happens while you're busy making other plans." So while having a plan A is important, being aware of what a plan B, C and beyond might look like makes sense too. This applies to every facet of your life - personal, work, career, family. If you don't have a map it's hard to get where you want to go.
So don't wait until the breezes pick up, or until you're on channel 5, in a boat paddling down Main Street. Riding out the storms in your life depends on the decisions you make now - well before they occur.
Pass the Margaritas. We're ready and will be safe, and we're wishing the same for all our fellow Floridians.
