Our Company
Cert-In Software Systems,
Inc. was
incorporated in Florida in 1996 as a software
development
company whose primary objective was to provide easy to use tools for contractors. In
January
of 1997 we acquired the rights to maintain, modify, upgrade and distribute the TRF
family of
products. During the last twenty years we have produced Windows versions of the
Estimating
and Time & Material programs, using state of the art development and data
management
systems. In the most recent two years the programs recieved a complete overhaul so
that they
are compatible with Windows versions now and in the future.
Eric W. Davenport, President of Cert-In Software Systems, Inc. managed an overseas
office for
a large Florida Contractor for 11 years. During that time he had full responsibility
for the
development of estimates, purchasing of material, and management of many projects.
The
projects were multi-trade projects, which included HVAC, Plumbing, Fire Sprinkler,
Electrical, Fire Detection and Chemical Fire Suppression systems.
Mr. Davenport’s background in the management of a contracting business gave him a
clear
understanding in the need to be able to accurately prepare an estimate quickly and
efficiently. This understanding led him into the preparation of programs that would
make it
easy for estimators and project managers to accomplish their tasks. The creation of
the
first versions of the Cert-In Invoice Manager and the Cert-In Purchase Order
programs, were
based entirely on a need to provide a project manager with the tools that he could
use to
quickly prepare and manage schedules of values and invoices and purchase material
for a
project.
