Corrosion-Resistant, Lightweight, Liquidtight Conduit

Type ALT flexible electrical conduit weighs considerably less than standard liquidtight conduit. It’s jacketing is made of flexible PVC, resistant to oils and mild acids. The aluminum core makes it lightweight and corrosion-resistant; an ideal choice for corrosive environments, such as wastewater and water treatment facilities. It’s available in gray with working temperatures: -20°C - 80°C.

Emerson Introduces Expanded Line of Connectors for Liquidtight Conduit

Emerson is targeting the food, beverage and pharmaceutical industries with their new 4QSS connectors for liquidtight conduit, featuring 316 stainless steel for dependable performance that will last decades in wet, corrosive locations. Engineered for applications where sanitation is a critical, this UL Listed fittings completely seals out liquids and vapors.

Appleton Offers Expanded Line of Watertight Hubs

Appleton has expanded its watertight aluminum die cast hubs to include trade sizes 2-1/2" to 4", giving electricians more choice in connecting rigid conduit or IMC to larger enclosure openings. UL listed and CSA certified, these corrosion resistant hubs prevent wire abrasion with an insulated throat that is rated to 105°C.

Colored Flexible Electrical Conduit

ABRH, Non-jacketed Flexible Aluminum Conduit

Now both UL Listed and CSA Certified. Type ABRH is similar to Type ABR except it is formed from a heavy-gauge aluminum strip, providing superior crush resistance. It has many universal wiring applications and is available in sizes 3/8” to 3”.

Nonmetallic A/C Whips

Commonly used in air conditioner, pool and sauna installations. They consist of UL Listed flexible nonmetallic conduit, nonmetallic connectors, 8 and 10 AWG Conductors, conduit sizes ½” and ¾”, and 4 and 6 foot lengths. These Nonmetallic A/C Whips are corrosion, oil and sunlight resistant.
