New Design Select Service Program Ships Commonly Specified Lighting and Controls Products in 15 Days or Less

(NYSE: AYI) introduced today Design Select™, a portfolio segmentation and service program that supports highly configured projects on tight deadlines, all produced and assembled in the Company’s North American facilities. The program provides customers with a broad selection of the most popular and readily available lighting and controls products and options in Acuity’s portfolio that can be shipped in 15 days or less.
“We have selected the categories and product families based on a thorough analysis of our project data and customer input,” said Justin Moon, VP Product Portfolio & Operations, Acuity Brands Lighting and Controls. “Our goal is to ensure that our customers can completely specify and build a small to medium-sized project with the Design Select portfolio of products. The portfolio includes embedded controls options available within each Design Select product family to help meet energy codes, lower total installed cost, and ease lighting controls design.”
Acuity Brands' lighting and controls brands available through Design Select consist of Aculux®, Gotham®, Lithonia Lighting®, Mark Architectural Lighting™, nLight®, and SensorSwitch™. These brands cover a wide range of luminaire product categories within the Design Select program including downlight, high bay, linear, strip, troffer, area, and flood. Controls product categories include sensor, power pack, switch/wall plate, and system controller/interface. Over time, additional products will be evaluated and then added to the Design Select program offering customers even more opportunities to reduce project lead times.
