ILSCO’s TaskMaster continues to add to its popular battery-powered crimpers and cutters hand tools line.
The company recently debuted its TB-CUT26ACSR-IS, an ACRS cutter featuring a 350° rotatable scissor head design with heavy duty blades that cuts up to 3/8” EHS Guy Wire and 556 ACSR. Blade inserts make for easy field replacement. A DataTrack / USB interface captures output performance and data. The tool is backed by a 5-year TaskMaster Pro warranty.
TaskMaster's pistol-grip tools now include a battery powered dieless crimper, the TB-6DF1000-P, which has a 360º rotating head that allows for easy maneuvering and access in confined spaces. Its high-speed operation helps get the job done faster while a variable-speed trigger enables for precise positioning of the connector or cable before applying a crimp. The tools do not require dies to perform a crimp, offering versatility with a wide range of conductor sizes. TaskMaster’s new 4-point dieless crimping tools can crimp lugs and splices up to 1000 kcmil CU and 750 kcmil AL.
A new remote hydraulic dieless crimper is the TR-6DF1000, which operates with a 10,000 PSI pump. A quick-connect male attachment point offers a time-saving and leak-free connection.
In addition, the company’s TB-PMP is a lightweight, compact battery-powered hydraulic pump that offers a closed oil system that can function in any position (even held upside-down without leaking). The TB-PMP can power up a 60-ton head.
All the company’s crimpers and cutters are powered by 18V lithium-ion batteries and come with 5-year TaskMaster Pro warranties.
