I live in Southeast New England, which doesn’t get anywhere near the
winter that the region’s northern inhabitants deal with on an annual
basis. But every once in a while, here, a cycle can set itself up that
can wind up with us getting hit by repeated nor’easters. If the
temperatures are below freezing, that can mean multiple feet of snow
that just keeps adding to itself.
