Arlington’s 550 series zinc diecast split grounding bushings deliver convenience and time-savings. The split design allows installers to add a bushing AFTER conductors have been installed in the conduit.
Installation is quick and easy. Loosen the side screws on the fitting to allow bushing to pivot around the installed cables. One screw remains engaged to allow the hinge to open. Slip the bushing onto conduit. Last, tighten the side screws, and set screw to seat the bushing securely on the conduit.
Arlington's split grounding bushings are available in multiple sizes and ship assembled. They are also compatible with 2-1/2" to 4" and threaded EMT.
