BURNDY® Mechanical Shear Bolt Connectors
The new mechanical shear bolt lugs and splices connectors eliminate the need for compression tooling or torque wrench for installation. A simple Allen head socket wrench can be used to install them. Specially designed shear bolts result in the correct clamping force and shear off in a manner that prevents edges from being exposed above the surface of the connector.
