Lightweight, easy to install hazardous location linear luminaire
Building on its unmatched legacy of lighting innovation, Emerson introduces the Appleton™ Rigmaster LED linear luminaire. This LED Linear fixture boasts a compact footprint while delivering up to 7650 lumens of uniform lighting to promote a safer working environment. By offering a variety of mounting options, it is well suited for retrofits as well as new rig builds.
Five casted-in openings for safety cable retention along with the available looping safety cable helps secure the fixture, which is critical on drilling rigs. The optional yoke bracket is designed to ensure the bracket will stay in position regardless of vibration up to 10G levels at resonance frequency and maintain its structural integrity.
A hinged wiring compartment with captive hardware provides ease of access for installation or maintenance. Weighing a mere 10 pounds, the Rigmaster is easy to handle for maintenance personnel. To help achieve a good balance between work plane brightness and comfortable illumination, three color temperatures and clear or diffused lens options are available.
The Rigmaster is certified for Class I, Division 2 hazardous locations and is tested for NEMA Type 3R, 4, 4X, wet locations and marine type areas. The fixture also meets IP66 rating requirements of being "dust tight" and protected against powerful jets of water. Maintaining an L70 of 60,000 hours, the Rigmaster is bound to last through the challenges of harsh and corrosive conditions.
