Some fuse manufacturers have developed a popular service that reduces fuse inventory at facilities or large contractors and actually results in better fuse availability for the electrician.

How is this possible? The most modern fuse has been designed with combined features that were only available on separate fuses in the past.  ...more

Choosing the Right Switch
By William & Patti Feldman

Electrical switches and receptacles are quick, easy installs. Sometimes, the most challenging part of the job is to pick the right products.

Electrical switches fall into one of two commonly recognized categories: standard general duty switches, which the industry generally refers to as residential grade, that conform to UL 20, and a higher grade, built to satisfy not only UL 20, but also the Federal specification WS 896. ...more
