Attachments

Strain relief grips attached to equipment require fittings to ensure proper connection. Dust, splash and liquid-tight accessories are available where required. If the cable is not being attached to equipment, single and double U-EYE hooks may work just fine. ...more

By Peter Walsh, PE

Harmonic meters are getting more sophisticated every year. Fluke, RPM, Dranetz-BMI, Hioki, AEMC, and many others have instrumentation that can measure every possible nuance of the electric system harmonics and then compose a report with the test results. If you are frequently investigating harmonics, this is fine. But, what if you only investigate harmonics once or twice per year? Is it worth 3 days of your time for training, setting up, and personalizing the software report templates? ...more
