New Stage Pin Solutions from Hubbell Improve Upon Decades-Old Devices
Hubbell Wiring Device-Kellems is excited to announce the launch of its new Stage Pin Devices, which solve many of the problems end-users experience when using these types of devices to connect dimmers to stage lighting instruments and to power other types of equipment.

These new devices feature a removable sleeve that is highly heat resistant; the heat generated at the connection doesn’t negatively impact device performance.

Designed with super-tough, engineered thermoplastic, the new Stage Pin Devices are lightweight, impact resistant, easy to handle with an ergonomic shape, and simple and convenient to wire with removable contacts that snap into place.

The devices also offer adjustable strain relief, with the ability to accommodate the widest cable range of any stage pin device while exceeding UL requirements. Because these devices run cooler than the average stage pin device, they provide improved performance and a longer lifespan.

Available in 20 Amp, 60 Amp, and 100 Amp versions, Hubbell Wiring Device-Kellems’ Stage Pin Devices are compatible with installed bases of stage pin devices, so they can be used with other suppliers’ products.

These newly updated Stage Pin Devices were designed specifically for film and TV studios, theaters, schools and universities, and contractors that build equipment for these types of applications.

“Until now, traditional stage pin devices have been functional, but remained largely unchanged for decades,” says Roy Itzler, director of industrial marketing for Hubbell Wiring Device-Kellems. “By adding this improved device to our full line of solutions for the entertainment industry, Hubbell Wiring Device-Kellems continues to make its products better so installers and end-users find them safer, more convenient, more durable, and higher performing.”
