There has been a lot of talk in the Industry about e-commerce
capabilities and competing against Amazon and their eShopping Cart. Consider this: Some Distributors are saying only 3 to 5% of their revenue comes from shopping cart type e-commerce solutions. When architects and engineers are designing and building large structures, more than likely the contractors are using estimating software programs to bid on the projects.
