Hubbell Introduces New Tamper-Resistant Controlled Receptacles for Automatic Receptacle Control

Hubbell Wiring Device-Kellems is pleased to introduce tamper-resistant permanently marked receptacles, and improved markings for the entire line of controlled receptacles. The receptacles meet NEC 2017 requirements, ASHRAE standards, and California Title 24, which require certain receptacles to be automatically controlled for energy savings, as well as tamper-resistant for safety.

The tamper-resistant controlled receptacles can be found in Hubbell’s new Automatic Receptacle Control Product Guide, which helps contractors and building owners find the right solutions to further improve energy savings through automatically controlling plug loads.

The eight-page, full-color guide brings together Hubbell products that use occupancy- and time-based solutions – and a combination of wired and wireless technology – to provide automatic receptacle control features.
