Hubbell Wiring Device-Kellems Announces SystemOne Recessed Floor Box for Raised Access & Wood Floors

This SystemOne 4-Inch Recessed Floor Box installs easily into a 4” diameter hole and offers the ability to be used in single- or dual-service applications. To protect electrical devices and reduce the likelihood of trip hazards, electrical connections are made below the walking surface.

The SystemOne 4-Inch Recessed Floor Box for raised access and wood floors installs easily into a hole that is four inches in diameter, retained by two sets of retaining bars on either side. This floor box offers flexibility, with the ability to be used in single- or dual-service applications. Available device mounting plates include duplex, duplex with two data jacks, quadplex and many other versions.

To protect electrical devices and reduce the likelihood of trip hazards, electrical connections are made below the walking surface. Its unobtrusive design allows it to blend in with any new or existing décor, with six architectural cover finishes: brushed aluminum, black powder coat, brushed brass, antique bronze, gray powder coat, and satin nickel. Each cover is designed with a load rating of 300 pounds. The 1/8-inch flange thickness meets ADA requires and is also UL listed.

The SystemOne 4-Inch Recessed Floor Box for raised access and wood floors is plenum rated by UL for NEC 300.00(c) and is constructed from cast aluminum body.

Because the SystemOne 4-Inch Recessed Floor Box for raised access and wood floors feature the same cover design as the Hubbell 4-Inch Recessed Fire-Rated Poke-Throughs and the SystemOne Fully Adjustable 4-Inch Recessed Floor Box, one common look can be achieved – on grade and above grade – in any building.
