Are You Using Temporary Power?

If you need temporary power, there are special regulations. OSHA dictates the use of GFCIs and assured ground conductor programs on a construction site. The National Electrical Code also has similar requirements. Where do these special regulations apply?

If you are using temporary power for your construction, maintenance project, or for lighting, the special regulations apply. This includes temporary holiday lighting and electrical testing. The temporary holiday lighting installations have to be dismantled within 90 days.
