When a Customer Doesn’t Want a GFCI

What do you do when your customer refuses to let you install the code required GFCI? Customers can have legitimate concerns about GFCIs tripping and the outage causing damage. The National Electrical Code paragraph 406.4(D)(3) requires a GFCI replacement receptacle if a new circuit of that type would require it.
