Residential Floor Boxes
Residential floor boxes add value and convenience to many of today's "connected" homes. They are available in various configurations and aesthetic cover finishes. Specifiers aiming to satisfy homeowner needs for multiple types of connectivity can select from a wide variety of options, including two-gang and three-gang floor boxes and systems that enable power, data, and/or communications capability from a single location.

Increasing Profits with Floor Box Systems
Floor box selection can be an added source of profits. Decisions have to be made considering which method and boxes will be most economically run on a new job. The decisions with the smaller boxes can add up to have the most profit impact. A typical job has the contractor rushing to put in the floor boxes before the concrete is poured. It is a hectic time. Many times the designer doesn't release the details of the floor box uses until after the concrete is poured.

Using Floor Boxes For Line Voltage and Data Feeds
In any commercial or residential property when owners or clients want the source of electricity to be accessible from the floor, rather than just from the perimeter or from fixed partition walls, bringing line voltage and data feeds up through the floor calls for the use of floor boxes. Floor boxes come in many sizes, shapes, materials, depths, wiring capacities, and number of compartments.
