Applications for Floor Boxes
Floor boxes are convenient and popular choices for bringing power, data,
and/or audio/visual services to large rooms, convention halls, and
casinos where it is not practical or desirable to use perimeter walls
for the outlets. They are also excellent choices for libraries and open
partition office space because they provide maximum flexibility.
Offered in many sizes, materials, internal layouts, and wiring
capacities, floor boxes are less costly then underfloor duct
distribution systems and provide the opportunity for easy changes to
accommodate new configuration of the space without having to disturb the
floor.
