Cree Lighting has debuted new wireless lighting controls called
SmartCast, designed to reduce LED lighting systems’ energy consumption
by 70 percent. These savings are in addition to energy savings that LED
bulbs already provide as a replacement to fluorescent lighting for
offices, commercial and industrial spaces.
The savings are
realized through the use of automated, wireless controls that include
sensors on Cree CR Series architectural troffers, KR Series downlights
and CS Series linear luminaires.
