Hubbell SystemOne 10-Inch Fire-Rated Poke-Through Helps Buildings Prepare for More Technology
Hubbell Wiring Device-Kellems is excited to announce a new Hubbell SystemOne product addition for engineers, building owners, and contractors who require more data, AV and power capacity for recessed or furniture-feed connections. The Hubbell SystemOne 10-inch Fire-Rated Poke-Through device is available with the industry’s first 10-inch fire-rated poke-through furniture-feed cover, Hubbell’s first-ever tamper-resistant recessed cover.

The 10-inch Fire-Rated Poke-Through complements existing SystemOne solutions, including the 4-inch, 6-inch, and 8-inch Fire-Rated Poke-Throughs. Its design ensures that plugs are always protected through below-the-surface connections.

With excellent durability to withstand heavy use, the Hubbell SystemOne 10-inch Fire-Rated Poke-Through is cULus Listed for up to two hours and features a 1,000-pound cover load rating. The low-profile device covers match today’s architectural designs and are available in six finishes: aluminum brushed, plated brushed brass, plated satin nickel, plated antique bronze, black powder coat and gray powder coat.

Bottom feed plates can be configured in the field, from ½  inch to 2½ inch EMT, along with pass-through and blank plates. Perimeter bottom feed plates range from ½ inch to 1¼ inch EMT, along with pass-through and blank plates.

“With today’s ever-increasing technology needs, many applications are calling for more capacity than 6-inch or 8-inch fittings can provide,” says Joe Cretella, senior product manager for Hubbell Wiring Device-Kellems. “The SystemOne 10-inch fitting provides up to eight gangs of capacity for expanding data, AV, and power requirements.”

Ideal for new construction and existing buildings, the Hubbell SystemOne 10-inch Fire-Rated Poke-Through device supports increased data, AV, and power capacity in retail, higher-education, K-12, office, hospitality, entertainment, athletic, and healthcare settings.
