Wendel projectors use a light mask to frame light to a shape focused by optical lenses. The Wendel Projector uses field adjusted light masking shutters to form a rectilinear shaped light beam. A field cut light mask plate accessory is available to shape light to an irregular or non-rectilinear general form.
Art illuminated by Wendel comes to life! A shaped Focused Light Border makes art pop as if lit from behind. A shaped Fade In® Light Border is feathered and softly blends art with architecture using our proprietary Fade In Optics. Both light border options are available. The look is your choice!
We are proud of and thank lighting designers and end users for their positive response after comparing the Wendelighting LED Art Light against Halogen. Our LED Art Lighting includes a 98 CRI Led Chip powering proprietary optics which deliver superior rich colored lighting control. Surface Mount and Recessed Luminaire options include an LED Framing Projector and an LED Accent Light. Lighting Modules are listed to comply with JA8 California Residential Lighting Requirements.

A recessed Air Tight energy efficient IC Housing is designed for Insulation Contact. It includes the smallest ceiling opening trim for a variable optic framing projector available on the market today. A Recessed LED Framing Projector and Recessed LED Accent Light are UL Listed for a Recessed LED Retrofit. A previously installed Recessed Wendelighting Halogen Housing can now be Retrofitted to receive a bright, high color rendering, chip on board LED Art Light.
