Acuity’s Lithonia Lighting brand offers its RV Series Retrofit Commercial LED downlighting for commercial and industrial applications.

The RV Series provides packages that replicate light levels from traditional incandescent and fluorescent lamps in most common aperture sizes, ranging from 600 to 3000-delivered lumen values to replace comparable fluorescents at 18w CFL up to 2/32w CFL and incandescents from 65w BR30 to 300w BR40. The line can also be used to replace many if not all halogen and HID lamps.

The series offers frame opening diameters for nominal 6" and 8" commercial down-lights, and can be used with interruptible emergency AC power systems such as the EAC ISSM 125 and the EAC ISSM 375.

RV Series lamps are available in 2700K, 3000K, 3500K, and 4000K color temperatures and have a CRI of >83.

While the lamps come with a wet-location listing, they are not intended for use in tradi-tional residential “can”-style housings.

The RV series can be used with a ceiling thickness of up to 2 inches and can be dimmed with common line voltage dimmers, with no additional wires needing to be pulled to the fixtures.

The series is offered with an open or wall wash reflector, in the anodized finishes of clear semi-specular, clear diffuse, pewter, or wheat. Reflectors are also available with a white painted finish.

All finishes are available with a white or black painted flange option.

The RV Series Retrofit Commercial LED downlight is designed to last more than 50,000 hours in non-IC applications, and comes with a five-year comprehensive war-ranty.

The line is CSA certified to US and Canadian safety standards and ENERGY STAR certified to maximize utility rebates.
