Prescolite Division of Hubbell Lighting
James R. DukartPrescolite AKTM track lighting is available in apertures of 2 inches, 2 3/4 inches or 4 inches, with between 900 and 2500 delivered lumens. All track heads utilize a 2-step MacAdam ellipse color consistency to deliver between 900 to nearly 3000 lumens.
The track heads are compatible with numerous forward phase and reverse phase dimming controls, and with factory configurable beam spreads of 18 inches to 55 inches should fit just about any retail, hospitality or industrial application, Hubbell claims.
The lamps offer an integral die cast aluminum heat sink providing a minimum of 50,000 hours at 80% lumen maintenance, designed to lower energy usage and reduced service costs. The AKTMLED is also available with an option accessory holder which fits up to 2 media — dealers and customers can choose a hex cell louver, linear spread, diffusion lens or color filter.
“Our customers were asking us if the AKTM Series could be more flexible for specific application needs. The additional color temperature and high CRI options match up with current trends in places like art galleries and high-end residential,” said Tammy Grimm, project manager, Prescolite. “With the added versatility in beam control and the ability to create dramatic lighting effects, the AKTMD and AKTMN accessories align with trends in a wide range of commercial applications including retail merchandising.”
All luminaires are certified by a National Recognized Testing Lab (NTRL), either UL or CSA, and carry a five-year warranty.
