New CSA product standard requirements are becoming mandatory as of September 29th, 2015 and
from that date on; only the self-test model of GFCIs can be manufactured and certified. The current non-self-test GFCI version manufactured prior to that date can still be sold and installed after
September 29th, but availability will be limited to our inventory on-hand. This is tri-national, harmonized UL 943/CSA C22.2 No. 144.1/ANCE NMX-J-520.

1) When bidding projects, Self Test GFCIs could be as much as 60% higher in price, be sure to factor this into your bids as the non-self-test GFCIs may not be available at the time of installation
