Hobart, IN (February 10, 2017) – Calbrite’s stainless steel product line is designed to withstand the corrosive environments often found in food and beverage processing facilities. Types 304 and 316 stainless steel conduit feature best-in-class corrosion resistance properties, and are manufactured with a high quality, smooth ‘brite’ finish, limiting the harborage of harmful bacteria and pathogens.

The NSF certification process entails rigorous testing procedures to determine that the product complies with regulatory standards for safety, quality and performance.

The following products are now recognized as NSF/ANSI 169 Certified:
  • Calbrite type 304 and 316 stainless steel rigid conduit –Available in twelve trade sizes ½” through 6”
  • Calbrite type 304 and 316 stainless steel electrical metallic tubing (EMT) – Available in six trade sizes ½” through 2”
  • Calbrite type 304 and 316 stainless steel intermediate metal conduit (IMC) – Available in six trade sizes ½” through 2”
