New Twist-Lock Devices from Hubbell Wiring Device-Kellems Support Increasing Data Center Power Demands

excited to announce that it is expanding its Twist-Lock line to include 
two NEMA configurations that will work with the newest data center 
voltage requirements.

Shelton, Conn. – March 16, 2018 –Hubbell Wiring-Device Kellems is excited to announce that it is expanding its Twist-Lock line to include two NEMA configurations that will work with the newest data center voltage requirements.

Two kinds of power requirements are being used in North American data centers – 415V AC, 3-phase power and 240V AC line-to-neutral power – increasing the demand for new electrical connections that can support 415V AC, 3-phase power. This new power requirement reduces the number of data center power transformation steps, improving energy efficiency and reducing operating costs. To support these two voltage requirements, Hubbell created its L25-30 and L26-30 Twist-Lock devices.

To protect terminations from excess cord and cable strain that can negatively impact data center performance, the new L25-30 and L26-30 Twist-Lock devices feature a superior cord clamp design. To protect wiring chambers from dust and contaminants, a dust shield is integrated into the devices.
