Fast terminating 15A & 20A EdgeConnect plugs and connectors introduced by Hubbell Wiring Device-Kellems

The wait is over! Installers can now terminate 15A and 20A cord-mounted plugs and connectors faster and more securely with the new EdgeConnect™ series of devices from Hubbell Wiring Device-Kellems. These new straight blade and locking devices install quickly by hand, with no torque screwdriver needed to secure the termination.

EdgeConnect straight blade and Twist-Lock® plugs and connectors support a wide variety of hospital, entertainment, and commercial/industrial OEM and MRO applications, and are available in 15A and 20A configurations with all-black and bulk packaged offerings.

The newly designed cord clamp accommodates the widest range of cord diameters and fully closes to act as an excellent strain relief for the terminations.

EdgeConnect improves installation time by 80%, making terminations in 11 seconds. Technicians simply insert the wire and press the plunger, securing the wire. Wires are held tight for a consistent, reliable connection even in harsh environments.

Performance actually increases over time with this unique, patented design. This advantage comes from the heavy-duty levered springs that keep wires tight, eliminating screws. They continue to apply pressure as wire strands relax over time, also resisting temperature cycling.

Despite vibration and thermal cycling being present in industrial applications, EdgeConnect products maintain and even increase performance.
