Hubbell Wiring Device-Kellems is excited to announce the addition of 100 amp devices to the Advantage™ Series line of  switch-rated IEC pin and sleeve devices. The Advantage™ Series combines the advantages and safety of their top performing 100A IEC pin and sleeve with the capabilities of a UL2682 switch-rated device. The Advantage™ Series offers a variety of features that increase safety, flexibility, and water ingress protection while withstanding harsh industrial environments.

More Flexibility—Advantage™ Series devices are the only switch-rated pin and sleeve devices that are IEC 60309-2 compatible. By working with existing installed IEC 60309-2 pin and sleeve plug and inlet bases, customers save both time and money.

More Switching Capabilities—The Advantage™ Series is approved as a disconnecting means for both motor circuits and branch circuits. They carry a robust 100kA SCCR rating along with a 40 HP rating at 480V.

More Water Ingress Protection—The Advantage™ Series is designed for use in harsh environments. They are UL witnessed IP69K and UL Type 4X and 12 devices, and engineered to offer superior protection against water and dust—even enduring high water flow or areas with excessive amounts of dust. The sleek, modern design makes them easy to keep clean in wash-down applications. Product ratings are laser-marked into the device for permanent identification that won’t wash off.

More Advantages—Visual verification of power to the device is provided with highly visible, long lasting green LEDs on both sides.

The Advantage™ Series was designed with demanding environments in mind. From food and beverage processing plants to entertainment and fast food venues, these devices can withstand harsh working conditions—whether that includes dust, high-pressure water streams, hot water temperatures, or wear-and-tear abuse from being in an industrial setting.
